Nepal is seeing a rapid increase in the use of mediation these days. The government has taken the initiative and organized many training programs not only that they provide authority to the institution to conduct such trainings. These efforts are helping both the court system and community mediation grow in practice. Courts of Nepal now often refers cases to mediation and any disputes are successfully resolved through court annexed mediation within the court itself.

Mediation TOT program

The main goal of Mediation TOT is all about to build a group of capable trainers who can design and deliver effective mediation sessions in their own communities. It focuses on learning by doing through role plays, group discussions and real life practice sessions. Participants learn how to plan a training, manage learners and communicate effectively.   

This training is not limited to theory and principles. It helps participants able to develop presentation skills, builds confidence and leadership capabilities which makes them capable of standing in front of group and deliver their content and skills with confident and clarity.

When mediator becomes trainers, it impact positively in society. The trainings builds self-communication, economic gain, improves communication and encourages teamwork. It really makes participant able to understand human behavior, feelings, emotions and the power of stay neutral.
